Seems today every place you turn some one wants to sell you a home warrenty. When I buy something new I expect that it will perform as I expect it to for a period of time and I just can't see paying extra money to keep it in working order. It feels like a warrenty is often just another type of "revenue enhancement" that retailers use to bolster their bottom line.
On the other hand Real Estate sales aften involve "used properties" that no longer are covered by the builders new construction warrenty. What is some thing needs repair?
Home warrenty can usually be purchased on the condition that the fees will be paid when the property sells. All the while you have the property on the market you have coverage for a lot of things that could go wrong with your house either structurally or mechanically.
